Beta Carrot Punch | Low Calorie Beta Carrot Juice Recipe


 Beta carrot punch - Nutritious juice with beetroot and carrots

"Vegetables and fruits are filled with lots of good vitamins and minerals. it is better to have them cooked or uncooked." my mom says 😊. 

Sometimes we need to refill our body with vitamins and minerals to make ourselves healthy. Consuming juices are one of the most easiest ways to consume vegetables. Take a glass full of fruit or vegetable smoothie during breakfast, you will feel light and refreshed.

The beta carrot punch is a low calorie vegetable fruit juice filled with heap of vitamins and minerals. The fibers present in beetroots and carrots will aid digestion.  Taking these vegetables either cooked or uncooked will also help to regulate blood pressure and improves bone heath also aid digestion.  Making beta carrot punch is very easy, do try at home and enjoy.

Beta carrot Punch | How to make beetroot carrot smoothie at home


Low calorie vegetable smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes | Cooking time: 0 minutes | Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1/2 beetroot
  • 2 apples
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Sugar as need (optional)

Direction of preparation of beta carrot punch

  1. Wash thoroughly, peel and chop carrots, apples and beetroots into small pieces.

  2. Transfer everything in a mixer jar along with enough water, sugar and lemon juice. Adjust the amount of lemon juice and sugar to your taste. I don't suggest, using sugar in such smoothies as all these ingredients are naturally sweet. But, if you want, you can add one or two tablespoons of sugar, not recommended if you are using this smoothie for weight loss.

  3. Grind well, you will see beautifully colored smoothie in your mixer jar. Transfer into a glass directly, or you can strain it through a juice strainer. But remember, all the good fibers present in this veggies will loose if you strain it.

  4. Put some ice cubes and enjoy.
